Front of House Manager
Are you an experienced and passionate hospitality leader? 2 Pugs Coffee is looking for a dynamic and driven Front of House Manager to lead our team and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
At 2 Pugs Coffee, we pride ourselves on delivering quality food, fantastic coffee, and outstanding service in a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere. As the Front of House Manager, you will be a key player in managing day-to-day operations, leading a team of front-of-house staff, and taking ownership of the customer experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2+ years of management experience who is looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the front-of-house team to ensure exceptional service and smooth café operations.
· Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied.
· Manage daily operations including staff scheduling, ordering, stock control, and POS system.
· Train and mentor new staff, providing continuous support and development to help them excel in their roles.
· Monitor service flow to ensure timely seating and efficient table turnover, especially during busy periods.
· Work closely with the head chef and bring creative ideas for Menu changes/ Specials etc
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
· Oversee cash handling and ensure all transactions are accurate and secure.
Key Requirements:
· 2+ years of management experience in a Café/Restaurant setting.
· Approved Manager's Card and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate are essential.
· Barista trained
· Proven experience with staff training, scheduling, and inventory management.
· Ability to lead by example, fostering a positive and motivating team culture.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
· Flexible availability to work weekends and public holidays, with no late-night shifts.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
